Please note that Iron Double Doors are specified with one entry lock. If you would like a dummy knob, please request it as an additional accessory. You could also purchase a different brand lockset, send us the specifications of it, and we will prepare the door for it so you can install your lockset once you receive your door.
If your order is specified with iron pulls and deadbolt, we use an Emtek Deadbolt and 2 high quality roller latches.
If your door is specified with holes so you can install your own hardware, the backset is universal at 2 3/8”.
11. ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Just to give you an idea of the amount of detail that goes into our product, in Zavala Iron Doors, San Diego, if the iron worker needs 5 days to complete the welding process, our painter will require 5 to prepare the paint. This packaging protects your door and gives us the manufacturer and you the final user more confidence to ship the doors. The wood we use for our crates is IPPC certified (International Plant Protection Convention) also protecting our environment and in accordance to international shipping regulations.
There is a handling and packaging (crating) FEE OF $ 350 USD for standard 6'x8' doors. For specific packaging cost on single doors or oversized doors, please contact us in San Diego for details.
13. EASINESS OF INSTALLATION.
